CASE FILES FAQ

1. What is the purpose of the Case Files?
The Case Files list and archive were formed so that readers and writers of Case Files in particular would have a place to share their work and opinions.

2. Who can join the Case Files?
Anybody can join. However, if you are an author who is working on a work of X-Files fan fiction that will carry the category "X" or "T" (Adventure), this is definitely the place for you! If you are a reader who prefers to read stories that run along the lines of the actual show, this is definitely the place for you!

3. What are the guidelines for stories?
All stories must be over 45K in length and either be classified as "X" or "S", as long as the Consortium/Goverment Conspiracy is involved. The stories can be of any rating, just as long as those R and NC-17 stories are labelled as such.

4. How do I join the mailing list?
Simple! Visit here.

5. How do I submit a story to the Case Files archive?
All stories posted to the mailing list are automatically archived unless there is a note in the story not to archive it. If you aren't on the list and would like your story archived here, send an e-mail to me and I'll get back to you with directions.

Any more questions? Send them to me all I'll address them as soon as possible.
I just created this list and archive and as of yet this FAQ is incomplete.
Thank you for your patience and involvement!
